Mens Pajamas, Mens Sleepwear and Mens Loungewear – What Men REALLY want to wear to bed!
Today’s man is a compilation of many different people: Dad, Grandfather, bread-winner, husband, Little League Coach, best buddy, sports expert and all around fun guy. And nobody knows how to relax and chill-out better than a man. Whether it’s watching the game with buddies or throwing balls with his kids, men love to lounge and they know what they want in their pjs. We asked a broad spectrum of our customers, friends, strangers, parents, co-workers, Dads, Grandfathers and men online across the country what they look for in mens pajamas to get the most out of their chill time. The men we asked had no problem telling us exactly what kind of mens’ sleepwear and loungewear they preferred. Here is a list compiled from the responses that paints a clear picture of what men today REALLY want to wear to bed:
Comfortable Mens Pajamas – without question, every man we spoke to wanted ultimate comfort in their pajamas. Believe it or not, men are simple when it comes to sleepwear. They prefer a t-shirt and boxer pajama set or t-shirt and pajama pants set. The majority of men preferred sleepwear with short-sleeve tees and lightweight fabric in the pajama pants. Most men didn’t care at all what the mens’ pajamas pants fabric was, but only that it was stretchy and lightweight!
Loose-fit Mens Pajamas – the men in our poll told us that they desired maximum freedom in their sleepwear. This means a loose-fit with an elastic waist in the pants for ultimate comfort.
Long-lasting Mens PJs – once a man finds a comfortable sleepwear set, they want to stick with it, wearing their favorite pajamas night after night, year after year. They want their pjs to last a long time.
Cool Mens Loungewear – men are husbands, dads, grandfathers and friends. Even if no one except their wife and kids sees them in their pajamas, men want to look cool. This means their pajamas are usually a dark color with a hip, cool print or masculine design.
Fun Mens Pajamas, Novelty Mens Pajamas – most all the men were open to fun pajamas, although they were unlikely to purchase them for themselves. However, if they received a unique, funky mens pajama set as a gift, they would definitely wear it. ‘Fun’ was defined in different ways for different men. Some thought fun was sexy boxers from their girlfriend or wife, while others thought fun pajamas meant something about being a great dad from their kids. A large number of men also enjoyed pajamas that were customized to their interests. For example, if they were a sports fanatic, they loved their football themed pjs or if they were a proud father, they were thrilled to wear mens pajamas that proclaimed their status as Dad. The most fun pajamas are those that include the whole family: matching family pajamas, father-son matching pajamas, father and baby matching pajamas and matching pajamas for the whole family!
